Sightseeing tour of Paris
Where coaches are allowed in Paris?
Our drivers are at your disposal to take you around Paris to discover the French capital. Think about the perfect sightseeing tour of Paris, the monuments you'd like to visit, and the coach will drop you off as close as possible to the places authorized for group drop-off and pick-up.
To help you plan your visit to Paris, we've drawn up a list of authorized parking areas for minibuses and coaches in Paris: Montmartre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Opera Garnier, the Arc de Triomphe.
Can you get around Paris by coach or minibus?
We'd love to say yes. Unfortunately, some sites are only accessible by car, minivan or on foot.
Here are some of the most visited tourist sites in Paris that are not accessible by coach. It's important to know these details when you prepare a sightseeing tour of Paris.
Coaches cannot access Montmartre. They drop off and pick up at boulevard Rochechouart.
Montmartre
Touring coaches are not permitted in the Montmartre district. We drop groups off on Boulevard Marguerite de Rochechouart, next to Anvers metro station. Groups then have the choice of walking up to Montmartre (free) or taking the Montmartre funicular (for a fee).
Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral
It is not possible to drop your group off in front of Notre-Dame cathedral. Coaches drop groups off at Place du Chatelet.
But most of Paris's monuments and sites are accessible by coach. There are special parking spaces for coaches and minibuses in every district of Paris.
The Eiffel Tower
Parking on Avenue Joseph Bouvard
If your group has a reservation to visit the Eiffel Tower, or simply wants to take photos of the Eiffel Tower, your driver will park his minibus or coach on Avenue Joseph Bouvard. This is 150 metres from the Eiffel Tower, on the Champ-de-Mars. It will only take you a few minutes to get to the Eiffel Tower ticket office.
Drop off Place du Trocadero
The Place du Trocadero offers the most spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. In the evening, when the Eiffel Tower is illuminated, dozens of coaches try to drop off their groups for a few minutes to take the most famous photo in Paris.
Port de la Bourdonnais
If you have booked a cruise on the Seine with the Bateaux Parisiens company, your coach will drop you off and park at the Port de la Bourdonnais. Parking there is free for two hours for coaches belonging to groups taking a cruise only.
If you have time, after or before your cruise, you can take a few photos of the Eiffel Tower, as the Port de la Bourdonnais is only a two-minute walk from the city's most famous monument.

The Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe is accessible by coach. Minibuses and coaches can park Avenue Hoche to drop off and pick up groups visiting the Arc de Triomphe.
To reach the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, but also to access its terrace, an underground passage allows visitors to cross the largest roundabout in Paris on foot in complete safety.

The Louvre
If you book your coach with us, you'll have optimum access to the Louvre car park.
Your driver will drop you off at the car park beneath the museum and you will go straight to the Carrousel du Louvre.
In just a few minutes, after presenting yourself at the group ticket office, you'll be touring the halls of the greatest museum in the world!
No unpleasant surprises: if you tell us you'll be visiting the Louvre, access to the Louvre car park will be included in our price. You'll save yourself a long and tedious walk.
